There are more ways to
use our lavender cookie mix. Most have been created by Maria,
owner/grower/cook extraordinaire/ culinary lavender visionary.
Here are a few ideas.
Lavender cookies are so good with ice cream whether it be
vanilla, French vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, mint chocolate, mocha chocolate,
we can keep going here... And the bonus of adding fresh berries?
How about making
lavender ice
cream oh yeah!
Ice cream sandwiches, and again, with your favorite ice
cream. Simply bake your cookies and cool, put them in your refrigerator to get
cold, then spoon ice cream on one cookie ~ top with another cold
cookie ~ wrap in freezer paper or however you choose to freeze, to be tasty. You can use our
Lavender Cookie Mix or bake
from scratch,

lavender cookie recipe using our lavender sugar.
Our cookie mix makes an exquisite topping
for crisps and cobblers, too. Possibilities are endless...
For a crisp: melt butter, blend in cookie mix
until crumbly. Chill dough 10
minutes.
Omit any added
sugar to the fruit. Drop
the mix by teaspoonfuls (or crumble) over top. Covers one 9"x12" pan or two 9" pie pans. Bake to your recipe
specifications.
For a cobbler: follow directions for
cookies. Omit any added sugar to the fruit. Chill dough 10 minutes. Drop
the mix by teaspoonfuls (or crumble) over top
of fruit. Covers one 9"x12" pan or two
9" pie pans.
Bake to your recipe specifications.
Pictured here, a blueberry cobbler using only one 9" glass pie pan for a
thicker topping.
It is
fun to play.

Another idea, from one of our customers:
take a cookie, add a slice of
strawberry and a dash of whipped cream!
